It’s that time of year! The newest Creative Companion is now available on Amazon and I thought I would give you all a quick preview of this handy planner plus a video showing how to deconstruct your book (yep, cut it apart) if you would like to insert the pages into your own binder.
But first, I wanted to share a video from Kori, the lovely Colorfully Optimistic YouTuber, who not only did a flip-through of the book, but is also offering a giveaway. This is a time sensitive event so be sure to follow the instructions in her video and give her a follow⏤she’s got a wonderful channel and I am very thankful to Kori for taking the time to put together the video and a givewaway!
I’ve been making the Creative Planners since 2019 with the idea that everyone needs a little something different when it comes to a planner or organizer⏤something that would have a little structure but also be fairly customizable to allow for a wide variety of personal interests, hobbies and habits. I originally designed the book for people who love to color (hence the designs for coloring sprinkled throughout), but it has evolved into a planner that just about anyone can customize to suit their needs.
This planner is small enough to fit in a bag (6″ x 9.25″) and includes around 20 designs to color (if you like). It has monthly calendars for 2023, plenty of room to write, make lists, and create and track special projects. And the best part? There’s no right or wrong way to use it! And new for 2023, I created a simple lined journal to accompany the planner if you need even more room to write, or just want a notebook with a bunny on the cover. It comes in softcover as well as hardcover.
Finally, I have a blog post about an earlier Creative Companion showing some of the ways it can be used (and an older video about how I deconstructed it to fit into a binder if you would like more information.
Happy planning and cheers to all things creative!
Just arrived from Amazon!! My first one. I love it….only wish the paper was a wee bit thicker. Thank you so very much!!
So glad you like it, Beth, thank you! And, like you, I wish Amazon would offer it’s authors better paper, too! A lot of coloring book authors have complained ad nausea to no avail so far. They don’t seem to care that it hurts independently published author/illustrator’s reviews. Maybe someday they will get it together! Fingers crossed 😉
Thank you!!! Very helpful!!!
I still love it!!! and plan to deconstruct it as you did in the video. Your art work is such a delight. A good way to tackle a new year!!!
